They say anything goes at Carnival, well, what we know for sure is that ESN Catania goes to Acireale's Carnival.

Described as the best Carnival in Sicily and the third one in Italy, the Carnevale di Acireale is also one of the oldest ones on the island. During the week-long programme —from Fat Thursday to Ash Wednesday— papier-mâché  and flowered carnival floats parade on the Baroque scenario of Acireale's historical centre and compete for the best satire or social custom themed float to the sound of lights special effects and spectacular mechanical movements.
