Welcome Week

In occasion of the second semester's Welcome Days we planned a tight schedule for our incoming students.

Starting with a city tour on day 1, our volunteers, together with our mascotte Tony the elephant, walked our hosts around the city centre telling them everything about monuments and landmarks and letting them have a first taste of the king of Catania's cuisine: the arancino.

Tuesday and Wednesday -together with Friday's Welcome Party- are dedicated to bonding activities such as our pong tournament and a race that leads our international students throughout the streets of the city's nightlife, guided by their Italian team-mates.

On Thursday afternoon we use to take a breath to illustrate all the advantages of our ESNcard, starting with the opportunity of joining ESN events and activities, to a review of our local as well as national and international partners.

Finally, Sunday's trip to Syracuse traditionally closes our Welcome Week, disclosing to our new friends a whole new perspective over the immense historical and cultural heritage of Sicily.
